My
Belief
I believe every
couple and family has the strengths and internal resources to find
solutions to their problems. My strength is in working with couples
and families with relationship issues, depression, bi-polar, anger
management, parenting issues, stopping divorce, affair recovery and
sex problems. I believe what is affecting one member of a couple or family
affects the other members of the couple or family and approach most issues
at the couple and family level.
I also conduct groups and workshops for couples using Michelle
Weiner-Davis's
Divorce Busting and Marriage Breakthrough
approaches and Dr. Latham's
Positive Parenting.

Assisting couples and families in the
development of lifestyles and practices that will allow them to achieve
the rich, fulfilling lives they deserve.
Approach To
Counseling
My devotion to helping people solve their
problem started in 1973. The focus of my services are on five areas that often
affect the ways individual, couples and families operate. Those areas are:
- Youth disruptive behavior
disorders (ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Conduct Disorder)
- Mood Disorders (Depression, Anxiety
and Bi-Polar)
- Addictions (Substances, Internet and
Sex)
- Relationship problems (including
divorce stopping, affair recovery, domestic violence and anger management)
- Sexual problems
The principles of cognitive-behavioral
therapy form the foundation to my counseling approach. Based on the
individual needs of each client, couple, or family, the principles of behavior
analysis, solution-focus, narrative, and systems therapies are used in my
approach in the helping process.
What you can expect?
You can expect to find solutions that can lead
to rich, fulfilling relationships and gaining lifetime skills can lead to
achieving other personal or professional goals. You can expect to be
treated with respect and for your privacy to be protected. I have rear
entry private access to my office for those that need for their session to be
very discrete.
Community Service
Offerings
Earl is available for community presentations for your church
or organization on positive parenting, couples/marriage issues and
enhancement, and sexual issues and enhancements. Email Earl at

about scheduling presentations for your organization.
There is no charge for these presentations as long as they are offered with no
charge for those attending the presentations.
